What is FreeFaster?

FreeFaster is a simple app for tracking fasting periods and reviewing your history.

Is FreeFaster free?

Yes. There is no subscription, premium tier, or trial period.

Do I need an account?

No. FreeFaster works without an account.

Can I install FreeFaster as an app?

Yes. FreeFaster is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can install it on a supported phone, tablet, or desktop computer directly from your browser. Once installed, it appears on your home screen, app launcher, or desktop and opens in its own app-like window.

How do I install it?

• On iPhone or iPad, open FreeFaster in Safari, tap Share, then choose Add to Home Screen.
• On Android, open FreeFaster in a supported browser and choose Install app or Add to Home screen from the browser menu.
• On a desktop computer, look for the install icon in the address bar or choose Install FreeFaster from the browser menu.

The wording and availability of the install option vary by browser and operating system. FreeFaster remains a web app, but the installed experience is designed to look and behave like a native app.

Is my data sold?

No. We do not sell your personal data or your fasting records.

Where are my fasting records stored?

Your fasting records and app settings are stored in your browser on your device. FreeFaster does not receive or store them on its servers.

Can I move or back up my records?

Yes. Use the app's export and import tools to make a backup or move records between browser instances or installed copies. FreeFaster does not automatically sync records between devices.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Clearing site data may permanently remove your FreeFaster records from that browser. Export a backup first if you want to keep them.

Where is the app hosted?

FreeFaster runs on Cloudflare Workers. The app is downloaded to your browser and runs there.

How often does the app version change?

A build version is generated at build time using UTC and shown in the footer when available.
